Ingredients
- 200 g Dates
- 100 g Coconut Powder (Desicated)
- 100 g Almonds
- 100 g Kaju Kani
- 100 g Til
- 200 ml Ghee
- 100 g Salt
- 1.8 Kg Nido Fortified Milk Powder (1.8kg)
- 20 g Cardamom Powder
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the pitted dates or pulse them in a food processor until they form a sticky paste.
- 2. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan over low heat. Add the chopped almonds, cashews, and sesame seeds, and roast for 2-3 minutes until golden and aromatic.
- 3. Add the chopped dates to the pan and mix well with the nuts, mashing slightly to combine. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat until the mixture comes together.
- 4. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add the desiccated coconut, cardamom powder, milk powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- 5. Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, grease your palms with a little ghee and roll portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls.
- 6. Roll each ball in extra desiccated coconut for a finishing touch if desired. Allow them to set for 10-15 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for firmer texture.
- 7. Serve the bliss balls as a dessert or store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
