Ingredients
- 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 35 g On1Y Grinder Italian Seasoning Flakes
- 500 g Organically Grown Sweet Potato
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 500g to 700g Turkey
Instructions
- 1. In a large skillet, brown the halal ground turkey over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Set aside.
- 2. Peel and dice the sweet potato, slice the green capsicum, chop the carrots, and finely dice the onion.
- 3. In a crock-pot, layer the diced sweet potato, sliced green capsicum, chopped carrots, and diced onion.
- 4. Sprinkle the frozen peas evenly over the vegetables in the crock-pot.
- 5. Spoon the browned halal ground turkey over the vegetable mixture.
- 6. In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce with the Italian seasoning. Pour this mixture evenly over the contents of the crock-pot.
- 7. Cover the crock-pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
