Ingredients
- 1 pc Cabbage Red
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 2 Pieces Daily Apple
- 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
- 1 pack (1 kg) Amul Diced Cheddar
- 300 g Ishimaru Sanuki Udon Noodles
- 200 g Pork Passion Smoked Pork Sausage
- 16 g Orika Oregano
- 125 g Red Bell Pepper (Lal Shimla Mirchi)
- 25 g Catch Compounded Hing Powder
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
Instructions
- 1. Cook 250 g udon noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add 500 g chicken sausage (halal) and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of the reserved sausage drippings or additional oil. Stir-fry 4 cups shredded cabbage, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 finely chopped apple, and 1/4 teaspoon hing over medium-high heat until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Add 1/4 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and mix in the cooked udon noodles. Stir-fry everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- 6. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle 1 cup diced cheddar cheese over the mixture. Toss gently until the cheese melts and coats the noodles.
- 7. Transfer the stir-fry to a warm serving platter. Garnish with additional red bell pepper or oregano if desired. Serve immediately.
- 8. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container.
