Take a mixing jar and add 1 small bowl of poppy seeds (khaskhas seeds) in it and also add 2-3 chopped chillies and add 2 teaspoons of water and grind it well to make a fine paste.

After that take a pan and add mustard oil in it and add 1 teaspoon of nigella (kalonji) seeds in it and mix it after that add the chopped potatoes in it and mix it nicely.

After that add the chopped green chillies’ in it and mix it again very nicely for some time after that add 2 teaspoons of turmeric (halide) powder in it and stir it nicely.

Add the khaskhas paste to the pan and mix it all well and cover the lid and let it cook for 6-8 minutes after that stir it again nicely and add salt as per the taste and mix it well.

Add 3 tablespoons of water to the pan in the potatoes and let it cook it again for 6-8 minutes to make the potatoes soft and tender by covering it with a lid at a low-medium flame.

After that check the consistency of the gravy and then switch off the gas flame and transfer all the potato posto curry to a plate and garnish it with some chopped green chillies.
