  • 100 g Yorkshire English Carrots 100G
  • 150 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce Dispenser, 150Ml
  • 1 Ltr Ktc Sunflower Oil
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO

Instructions

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook it according to package instructions. Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and set aside.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet with the cooked beef, stirring for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, Szechuan chili oil, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the beef is evenly coated with the sauce.
  5. In a small pan, heat sesame oil over low heat and toast sesame seeds for 1-2 minutes until golden and aromatic. Set aside for garnishing.
  6. Assemble the rice bowls by dividing the cooked rice into serving bowls. Top with the Szechuan-hoisin beef, followed by the julienned carrots, sliced cucumber, and chopped spring onions.
  7. Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the top and serve immediately.
