Ingredients
- - Jus Rol Puff Pastry Squares-1x5.2kg
- 500 G The Fruit And Veg Man Strawberries Spanish (Punnet - 500g)
- - Philadelphia Original Soft Cream Cheese 165g
- 160G Muller Light Toffee Fat Free Yogurt
- - Anchor Salted Butter 200g
- - Billington'S Light Brown Soft Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2. Roll out the Jus Rol Puff Pastry Squares onto the prepared baking tray. Trim the edges if necessary to fit the tray and create a neat rectangle.
- 3. Using a knife, lightly score a border about 1 cm from the edges of the pastry. Be careful not to cut all the way through. This will help the edges puff up during baking.
- 4. Place the pastry in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
- 5. While the pastry is cooling, prepare the sticky toffee filling. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the Anchor Salted Butter. Once melted, add Billington's Light Brown Soft Sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.
- 6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the sticky toffee mixture to cool slightly. Once cooled, spread the mixture evenly over the cooled puff pastry base, leaving the scored border uncovered.
- 7. In a mixing bowl, beat the Philadelphia Original Soft Cream Cheese until smooth and creamy. Spread the cream cheese evenly over the sticky toffee layer, creating a smooth surface.
- 8. Wash and hull The Fruit and Veg Man Strawberries Spanish (Punnet - 500g). Slice the strawberries into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- 9. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer, covering the entire surface. You can create a decorative pattern or simply scatter them evenly.
- 10. Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the layers to set. Serve chilled and enjoy your Sticky Toffee Strawberry Tart!
