  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • - Ginger - 100g
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • 500 Ml Lee Kum Kee Double Deluxe Soy, 500Ml
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
  • NaN Godavari Sona Masoori Raw Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet or electric frypan over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 1 minced clove of garlic, stirring until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  2. 2. Add 1/2 cup diced onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Season the sautéed onion with 3/4 tbsp grated ginger and 1/2 tsp black pepper, stirring to coat.
  4. 4. Push the sautéed onion to the center of the skillet, slightly overlapping it. Pour 2 1/4 cups water around the onion and stir in 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 cup uncooked rice.
  5. 5. Cover the skillet and let it simmer over low heat for about 35 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and tender.
  6. 6. Check the skillet and add 1/4 cup water if needed to prevent sticking. Stir gently to combine.
  7. 7. Serve the rice hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
