  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • - Tamicon Tamarind Concentrate 200g
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 500 G Fresh Vine Tomato 500g
  • - Sangenton Pork Belly 2.5mm Slices 500g
  • - Fresh Asian Mooli Radish Daikon Exotic Vegetable
  • - Jalpur Okra - (Bhindi)
  • NaN Tilda Long Grain Rice
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
  • 250 Ml Ktc Jasmin Oil Cooking Oil 250Ml

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat and sauté 1 chopped onion and 3 minced garlic cloves until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add 300g of pork belly, cut into chunks, and sear until lightly browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Pour in 1 liter of water and bring to a boil. Skim off any scum that rises to the surface.
  4. 4. Add 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste and stir until dissolved. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of Seasoning For Sour Soup With Beef, 150G.
  5. 5. Add 1 medium tomato, quartered, and 1 daikon radish, sliced, to the pot. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  6. 6. Add 1 bunch of water spinach (kangkong) and 2 pieces of okra. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. 7. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or tamarind paste if needed.
  8. 8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
