Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 350G Natoora Datterini Tomato Soup With White Beans
- 500G Baker Street Seeded Rye Bread
- NaN Bute Island Cheddar Flavour Block
- - Schwartz Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Cut the loaf of rye bread in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the inside, breaking the removed bread into bite-sized pieces. Set both the bread halves and pieces aside.
- 3. In a large saucepan, combine 1 lb of lean ground beef, 1 chopped onion, and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped green pepper. Cook over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- 4. Stir in 1 can of tomato soup, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar, and the reserved bread pieces. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the mixture is evenly combined. Add 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning and stir to incorporate.
- 5. Spoon the beef mixture evenly into the hollowed-out bread halves. Place the filled bread halves on a baking sheet.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the filling is heated through.
- 7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and slice into portions. Serve warm and enjoy!
