  • - Mowi Scottish Salmon Fillets
  • 6 Each Golden Yolk Eggs 6 Pack
  • 250 Ml Trs Lemon Juice 250Ml
  • - Kirkland Signature Whole Black Peppercorn
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
  • 85G Rajah Whole Fennel Seeds 85G

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and freshly ground black peppercorns on both sides.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix hot mustard paste with some freshly chopped parsley, a sprinkle of fennel seeds, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  4. 4. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. They should be large enough to wrap around each salmon fillet.
  5. 5. Place a salmon fillet on a puff pastry sheet and spread the mustard herb mixture over the top of the salmon.
  6. 6. Sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese over the herbs and carefully fold the pastry around the salmon to enclose it completely. Seal the edges by pinching or pressing with a fork.
  7. 7. Beat an egg and brush it over the top of the pastry for a golden finish.
  8. 8. Place the wrapped salmon on the prepared baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  9. 9. Let it cool slightly before serving, then slice and enjoy your Salmon en Croûte with a fresh salad or your choice of side dish.
