Ingredients
- - Jus Rol Puff Pastry Squares-1x5.2kg
- 80 G Properoni Classic Sliced Pepperoni 2 X 80g
- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
- 1 Unit Galbani Mozzarella Ball 125g
- 6 Each Golden Yolk Eggs 6 Pack
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or Gas Mark 6, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2. Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to maintain its smoothness.
- 3. Spread the tomato pizza sauce evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1cm border around the edges to prevent leaking.
- 4. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce, ensuring even coverage.
- 5. Arrange the pepperoni slices across the cheese layer, spacing them evenly for balanced flavor in each pinwheel.
- 6. Carefully roll the pastry into a tight log, starting from one of the longer edges, ensuring the filling stays intact as you roll.
- 7. Slice the rolled log into 12 equal pieces about 2cm thick each, using a sharp knife for clean cuts.
- 8. Place the pinwheels flat on the prepared baking tray, spacing them apart to allow room for expansion during baking.
- 9. Brush the tops of the pinwheels lightly with the beaten egg to achieve a golden, crispy finish.
- 10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown, and the cheese is bubbly.
- 11. Remove from the oven and let the pinwheels cool for 5 minutes on the tray before serving warm.
