Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • - Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
  • 1 Kg Arborio Risotto Rice, 1Kg
  • NaN Filippo Berio Classico Pure Olive Oil
  • 200G Natoora Cave Grown Brown Paris Mushrooms
  • - Schwartz Bay Leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the ingredients: Finely chop the Fresh Onion Pack and clean the Mushroom Closed Cup Box by wiping them with a damp cloth. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil – Organic in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.
  4. 4. Stir in the Arborio Risotto Rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the rice to toast slightly and absorb the flavors.
  5. 5. Add 1-2 Schwartz Bay Leaves to the pan for added aroma. Gradually add hot vegetable stock (not included in the kit) one ladle at a time, stirring continuously. Allow the rice to absorb the liquid before adding more stock. Repeat this process for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is creamy and cooked al dente.
  6. 6. Season the risotto with a pinch of Pepper Black Ground BWFO to taste. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
  7. 7. Stir in a handful of grated Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Cheese to give the risotto a creamy, cheesy finish. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. 8. Optional: The Solgar Wild Oregano Oil Softgels are not directly used in the recipe but can be taken as a dietary supplement if desired.
  9. 9. Serve the Mushroom Risotto hot, garnished with additional grated cheese or freshly chopped herbs if available.
