Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and brown 2 pounds of ground beef, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. Add 3 diced onions and 3 minced garlic cloves, cooking until softened.
- 2. Stir in 4 tablespoons of chili powder and 1 tablespoon of flour, ensuring the beef mixture is evenly coated.
- 3. Add 1 diced tomato, 1 can of tomato soup, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of oregano, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
- 4. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 5. Add 1 can of drained and rinsed kidney beans to the pot, stir, and cook uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
- 6. Serve hot, garnished with your choice of kosher toppings like chopped parsley or a dollop of sour cream.
