Ingredients
- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
- 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
- - Forest Whole Foods Organic Wild Rice
- - Chilli Powder Rajah
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and sauté 1 diced onion until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
- 2. Transfer the cooked onion to a crockpot. Add 1 can of diced tomatoes with their juice, 1/2 cup of uncooked wild rice, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients (approximately 4 cups). Set the crockpot to high and cook for 1 hour.
- 4. Reduce the crockpot to low and continue cooking until the wild rice is tender and the grains have split and curled, about 4 hours.
- 5. Add 4 cups of frozen corn to the crockpot and stir. Continue cooking on low until the corn is heated through, about 30 minutes.
- 6. Serve the chili hot and enjoy a comforting, protein-packed meal.
