  • 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
  • 369G Kimchi, 369G
  • 125G Galbani Italian Mozzarella Cheese
  • 200G Arla Lactofree Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • 200G Anchor Unsalted Butter
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
  • NaN Mcdougalls Self Raising Flour

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the elbow macaroni following the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. 3. Stir in 2 tablespoons of refined flour, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until smooth and bubbly to form a rue.
  4. 4. Gradually add 2 cups of toned milk while whisking continuously, and cook until the mixture thickens and smooths.
  5. 5. Add 200g of natural cheddar cheese slices and 150g of shredded mozzarella to the sauce, stirring until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  6. 6. Season the cheese sauce with a pinch of white pepper and salt according to your taste.
  7. 7. Fold in 150g of kimchi into the sauce, distributing well through the mixture.
  8. 8. Mix the sauce with the cooked macaroni until everything is well combined.
  9. 9. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish, and sprinkle chilli flakes on top for extra spice.
  10. 10. Optional - Place under a broiler for 3-4 minutes until the top becomes golden brown and bubbly.
