- 400G White Pearl Chopped Tomatoes In Tomato Juice 400g
- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- 750 Ml Alto De Bayna Barrica Red Wine, 750Ml
- 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
- 200G Canvin And Gunner British Beef Bavette Steak
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- - Tata Salt
- 100G Natco Paprika Powder 100g
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 cup chopped onion and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Add 2 lb stewing beef and brown lightly on all sides, about 8 minutes.
- 4. Stir in 1 chopped tomato, 3/4 cup diced green pepper, 1 bay leaf, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup red wine, and 2 tbsp tomato paste.
- 5. Cover the Dutch oven and simmer the mixture slowly over low heat for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the beef is tender.
- 6. Skim off any fat from the surface of the mixture.
- 7. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp flour with 2 tbsp water until smooth. Stir this mixture into the beef gravy.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and let it boil for 2 minutes until thickened.
- 9. Serve the goulash hot with buttered noodles or your preferred side. Makes 6 servings.
