Ingredients
- 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
- 1 Kg Harry & Percy British Salad Potatoes
- 2 Per Pack Natoora White Onions
- 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. In a large oven-safe pot, combine 3 cups of water and 500 g of seitan. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- 3. While the seitan is cooking, peel and chop 2 lb of carrots and 2 tiny white onions. Cut 4 lb of potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. After 30 minutes, remove the pot from the oven and add the chopped carrots, onions, and potatoes. Stir in 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 12 oz of tomato paste, 1 tbsp of salt, and 1 1/2 tsp of pepper.
- 5. Return the pot to the oven and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally and add more water if needed to achieve a medium consistency.
- 6. Once the vegetables are fully cooked, remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your hearty kosher vegetable stew!
