Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
  • 1 Kg Harry & Percy British Salad Potatoes
  • 2 Per Pack Natoora White Onions
  • 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
  • 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
  • 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
  • 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
  • - Tata Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a large oven-safe pot, combine 3 cups of water and 500 g of seitan. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. 3. While the seitan is cooking, peel and chop 2 lb of carrots and 2 tiny white onions. Cut 4 lb of potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  4. 4. After 30 minutes, remove the pot from the oven and add the chopped carrots, onions, and potatoes. Stir in 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 12 oz of tomato paste, 1 tbsp of salt, and 1 1/2 tsp of pepper.
  5. 5. Return the pot to the oven and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally and add more water if needed to achieve a medium consistency.
  6. 6. Once the vegetables are fully cooked, remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your hearty kosher vegetable stew!
