Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 295G Heinz Weight Watchers Tomato Soup
- 500G Aunt Bessie'S Maple & Thyme Glazed Carrots
- 150G Saitaku Panko Breadcrumbs
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Peel and slice 2 carrots and 1 onion into thin rounds. Set aside.
- 3. In a baking dish, arrange a layer of sliced carrots, followed by a layer of sliced onions.
- 4. Pour 1 can (400 ml) of tomato soup evenly over the vegetable layers, ensuring they are well coated.
- 5. Sprinkle 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the tomato soup layer, pressing them gently into the surface.
- 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes.
- 7. Remove the foil, sprinkle 1 cup of grated halal cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8. Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
