  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • 295G Heinz Weight Watchers Tomato Soup
  • 500G Aunt Bessie'S Maple & Thyme Glazed Carrots
  • 150G Saitaku Panko Breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Peel and slice 2 carrots and 1 onion into thin rounds. Set aside.
  3. 3. In a baking dish, arrange a layer of sliced carrots, followed by a layer of sliced onions.
  4. 4. Pour 1 can (400 ml) of tomato soup evenly over the vegetable layers, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. 5. Sprinkle 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the tomato soup layer, pressing them gently into the surface.
  6. 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes.
  7. 7. Remove the foil, sprinkle 1 cup of grated halal cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. 8. Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
