Ingredients

  • - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
  • 1.5 Kg Harry & Percy British Mashing Potatoes
  • 500G Aunt Bessie'S Maple & Thyme Glazed Carrots
  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
  • 80 Ml Ladolea Set Of 2 Lemon & Oregano Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 80Ml
  • - Tata Salt
  • 500G Clover Spread
  • 2 L La Espanola Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your cooking method: campfire coals, grill to medium-high heat, or oven to 350°F.
  2. 2. Drizzle olive oil onto a heat-safe surface or container suitable for cooking packets.
  3. 3. Divide the 500 g of halal ground beef into 4 portions and place one portion in the center of each prepared surface.
  4. 4. Distribute the 1 cup of sliced carrots, 1 cup of diced potatoes, and 1/2 cup of chopped onions evenly over the meat in each packet.
  5. 5. Season each packet with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Add 1 teaspoon of butter to each packet for flavor.
  6. 6. Fold the top and sides of each packet securely using the heat-safe surface or container.
  7. 7. For campfire cooking, place the packets seam-side up on hot coals near the edge of the fire and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
  8. 8. For grilling, place the packets seam-side up on a medium-hot grill and cook for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. 9. For oven cooking, place the packets seam-side up on a baking sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
  10. 10. Carefully open the packets to avoid steam, and serve hot.
