- 100 G Saras Turmeric Haldi Powder
- - Ktc Gram Flour 2kg
- 1 Ltr Ktc Sunflower Oil
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt and gram flour to create a smooth paste, ensuring no lumps remain.
- 2. Add water gradually to the yogurt mixture, stirring continuously, until you achieve a desired consistency similar to that of a thin soup.
- 3. Season the mixture with table salt, turmeric powder, and yellow hing powder (asafoetida) according to taste, and set aside.
- 4. Heat sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat. Add brown mustard seeds, cumin whole seeds, and a pinch of yellow hing powder.
- 5. Once the mustard seeds start to crackle, add curry leaves, finely chopped fresh green chili, and grated ginger. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- 6. Pour the prepared yogurt mixture into the pan, stirring continuously to prevent curdling. Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
- 7. Add a touch of white sugar to balance the tanginess, adjusting to your taste preference, and continue cooking for a few more minutes.
- 8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with your choice of steamed rice or chapati.
