Ingredients
- 1 Kg Peaches Kilo
- - Speciality Breads Frozen British Brioche Bread Loaves
- - Amul Masti Dahi
- - RealFoodSource Saffron Strands
- 100G Pariani Chopped Sicilian Pistachio, 100G
- 1 Jar Rowse Clear Honey
- - Lurpak Unsalted Butter
- - Natco Cardamom Powder
- 1 Kg Trade Aid Caster Sugar 1kg
Instructions
- 1. Wash and slice the peaches into thin wedges. Heat a pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp butter, and sauté the peach slices with 2 tbsp caster sugar until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- 2. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with honey, ground cardamom, and rose water until smooth. Soak the saffron threads in 1 tbsp of warm milk for 5 minutes, then stir it into the yogurt mixture for added flavor and color.
- 3. Lightly toast the brioche slices and cut them into bite-sized pieces or cubes. Divide the pieces equally into serving glasses or bowls to form the base layer.
- 4. Layer the caramelized peaches on top of the brioche, followed by a generous dollop of the spiced yogurt mixture. Repeat the layers if desired, ending with the yogurt mixture on top.
- 5. Garnish each trifle with chopped pistachios and a few saffron threads for decoration. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
