Ingredients
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Ginger - 100g
- 500 Ml Vegetarian Fish Sauce - Nuoc Mam Chay, 500Ml
- 60G Terre Exotique Black Sao Tome Pepper, 60G
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 250G Shallot Onion - 250g
- - Forest Whole Foods Organic White Quinoa
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
- 2. Add 1 finely chopped shallot onion and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger root to the pan. Sauté for 3 minutes until fragrant.
- 3. Stir in 1/2 cup of quinoa. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, to lightly toast the quinoa.
- 4. Pour in 6 cups of hot water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 30 minutes or until the quinoa is fully cooked.
- 5. Season the soup with 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, adjusting to taste.
- 6. Remove the soup from heat and garnish with 2 finely chopped spring onions.
- 7. Serve hot and enjoy a hearty, flavorful dinner.
