Ingredients

  • 100 G Britannia Superfine Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 200 G Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam
  • 250 Ml Oatly Vanilla Custard
  • 280G Jus-Rol Gluten Free Ready Rolled Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 200G Anchor Unsalted Butter
  • 500G Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Fondant Icing Sugar
  • NaN Mcdougalls Self Raising Flour

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the gluten-free ready-rolled puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares (4-inch x 4-inch works well) or rectangles.
  2. 2. Spread a thin layer of jam in the center of each pastry square. Add a dollop of custard (about 1 teaspoon) on top of the jam. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips and crumbled turron duro round cake over the custard. Add a couple of slices of fresh fruit on top.
  3. 3. Fold the corners of each pastry square toward the center to form a little bundle, or simply pinch the edges to make a tart-like shape. Brush the edges with melted butter for a golden finish. Sprinkle icing sugar generously over the top of the pastries.
  4. 4. Transfer the pastries to the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
  5. 5. Let the pastries cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar for a final elegant touch.
