Instructions

  1. 1. Begin by preparing the chicken breast. Pound the chicken lightly to ensure even thickness, then season with salt, black pepper, turmeric, cumin, and coriander powder on both sides.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add the all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually pour in the orange juice, stirring to avoid lumps, and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the Dijon mustard, honey, and heavy cream to the skillet, whisking until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in the orange zest for a burst of citrus flavor.
  5. 5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. 6. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm. Pair with steamed rice or crusty bread to complete the meal.
