Ingredients

  • - Carnation Condensed Milk
  • 500G Ghee, 500G
  • 800G Kingsmill 50/50 Medium Bread 800G
  • 400G Jacksons Of Yorkshire Half Multiseed Bloomer
  • 165 Ml Tropical Sun Coconut Milk Mini
  • - Whole Foods Market Organic Cardamom Powder
  • 50G Ginni'S Roasted & Salted Pistachio Nuts 50g
  • 1 Kg Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Light Soft Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1/2 cup of ghee in a pan. Fry 6 slices of multiseed bread until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pan, add 1 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup of light soft brown sugar, and 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. 3. Add 1/4 cup of condensed milk and mix well. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  4. 4. Add the fried bread slices to the milk mixture. Let them soak for 2-3 minutes, turning once to ensure even absorption.
  5. 5. Transfer the soaked bread slices to a serving dish. Garnish with 2 tbsp of chopped almonds, 2 tbsp of chopped pistachios, and 1 tbsp of oat bar pieces.
  6. 6. Serve warm or chilled.
