Ingredients

  • 1 Jar Rowse Clear Honey
  • - Vietnamese Summer Roll Rice Paper
  • 100G Top-Op Black Till Sesame Seeds 100g
  • 454G Goya Brown Cane Sugar, 454G

Instructions

  1. 1. Take 100g of Vietnamese Summer Roll Rice Paper and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
  2. 2. Heat enough cooking oil in a deep pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, fry the rice paper strips in batches until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  3. 3. In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp of honey along with 1 tbsp of brown cane sugar and 1 tbsp of water. Stir continuously on low heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly into a syrup.
  4. 4. Add 50g of cooked and shredded chicken to the syrup. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly in the glaze.
  5. 5. Remove the pan from heat and gently toss the fried rice paper strips with the glazed chicken until everything is well combined.
  6. 6. Plate the Darsaan and garnish with 1 tbsp of sesame seeds and 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream on the side.
  7. 7. Serve immediately while the rice paper strips are still crispy and the dish is warm.
