Ingredients
- 30 Ml Sprig Natural Bourbon Vanilla | 20 Ml Extract | Superior Quality | Chemical-Free | Alcohol-Free | For Gourmet Baking & Desserts
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 1 Kg Heera Maida Flour,1kg
- 1 Kg Trade Aid Caster Sugar 1kg
- - Natco Ground Cinnamon 100g
Instructions
- 1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, a pinch of Top-Op Table Salt Drums, and 2 tablespoons of Trade Aid Caster Sugar. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
- 2. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add 1 cup of Heera Maida Flour. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together and forms a smooth ball. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
- 3. After the dough has cooled slightly, add 1 teaspoon of Sprig Natural Bourbon Vanilla extract. Mix well to incorporate the vanilla into the dough.
- 4. Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle. Set aside while you prepare the frying oil.
- 5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot to 180°C (350°F). Ensure the oil is deep enough to submerge the churros completely.
- 6. Pipe the dough directly into the hot oil, cutting it into 4-6 inch lengths with scissors or a knife. Fry the churros in batches, turning them occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per batch).
- 7. Remove the churros from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 8. In a shallow dish, mix 1/2 cup of Trade Aid Caster Sugar with 1 teaspoon of Natco Ground Cinnamon. Roll the warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
- 9. Serve the churros warm with your favorite dipping sauce, if desired. Enjoy your homemade churros!
