- 500 G Fresh Vine Tomato 500g
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 1 L Ktc Sunflower Oil
- - Ktc Minced Garlic Paste
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 1.5 Kg Bacheldre Organic Stoneground Strong Wholemeal Flour, 1.5Kg
- 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml
Instructions
- 1. Start by finely chopping the cabbage, green chili, and spring onion, then set them aside.
- 2. Mince the chicken breasts and ginger, then mix them in a bowl.
- 3. To this mixture, add chopped cabbage, green chili, spring onion, garlic paste, black pepper powder, dark soy sauce, and salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
- 4. In a separate bowl, combine strong wholemeal flour with a pinch of salt and slowly add water to form a soft dough. Knead it well and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 5. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
- 6. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each dough circle and fold the edges to seal the momo, forming a pleated or semi-circular shape.
- 7. Prepare a steamer and brush some cooking oil on the steamer base to prevent sticking. Place momos in the steamer, ensuring they don't touch each other.
- 8. Steam the momos for about 10-15 minutes until the dough is cooked and the filling is juicy.
- 9. For the dipping sauce, blend fresh tomatoes, a dash of dark soy sauce, a splash of white vinegar, and fried tomato sauce together.
- 10. Serve the hot chicken momos with the prepared tomato-based dipping sauce.
