- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 125G Daylesford Organic Brandy Butter
- 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
- 125G Seriously Spreadable Vintage Cheese Spread
- 165G Delicioso Salsa Brava, 165G
- 600G Picard Organic Spinach Leaves
- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 150G Saitaku Panko Breadcrumbs
Instructions
- 1. Cook 500 g spinach according to package directions. Drain well, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid.
- 2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add 1/3 cup finely chopped onion and sauté until tender, about 4 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 2 tbsp all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbly, stirring constantly.
- 4. Gradually add the reserved 1/2 cup spinach liquid and 1/2 cup milk, stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- 5. Add 6 oz cheese spread to the skillet and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- 6. Stir in 1/2 cup salsa, the drained spinach, and 1 tsp soy sauce. Mix well to combine.
- 7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Top with 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.
- 8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
