  • 200G Mergulo Original Plant-Based Butter
  • 6 X 1 L Candia Just Milk Semi Skimmed
  • 1.5 kg Green Fine Beans 1X1.5Kg
  • 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
  • 15 Kg Caputo Red Strong Flour, 15Kg
  • - Chilli Powder Rajah

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the green beans in boiling water for about 15 minutes until tender. Add salt if desired, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Gradually add 4 tablespoons of flour, stirring constantly to form a smooth roux.
  3. 3. Slowly pour in 1 cup of milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens into a smooth sauce.
  4. 4. Add 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast and 1 tablespoon of chili powder to the sauce, stirring well to combine.
  5. 5. Stir in 1 cup of grated cheese and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Cook until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. 6. Add the cooked green beans to the sauce and mix well to coat them evenly. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
