- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 60G Terre Exotique Black Sao Tome Pepper, 60G
- 500G White Pearl Italian Pudding Rice 500g
- 1.5 kg Green Fine Beans 1X1.5Kg
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- - Schwartz Paprika
- 10G Top-Op Bay Leaves 10g
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1/4 tsp paprika and 2 bay leaves, cooking for 1 minute to release the aroma.
- 4. Add 1 can of green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Pour in 2 cups of water and season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Bring to a boil.
- 6. Add 1 cup of rice, stir briefly, and reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- 7. Remove the bay leaves and fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
