- - Jalpur Green Cardamoms Whole
- - Schwartz Saffron Jar
- 600G Ginni'S Roasted And Salted Cashew Nuts 600g
Instructions
- 1. Gather all your ingredients: 1 liter of whole milk, 1/2 cup of condensed milk, a pinch of saffron strands, 1/4 teaspoon of green cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons of Dona Jimena Turron Duro Round Cake (chopped), and 2 tablespoons of cashew nuts (chopped).
- 2. In a large, heavy-bottomed pan, bring the whole milk to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
- 3. Once the milk begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces to about half its original quantity. This will take around 30-40 minutes.
- 4. Add the condensed milk to the reduced milk and stir well to combine. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- 5. Meanwhile, soak a pinch of saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for a few minutes to release its color and flavor.
- 6. Add the soaked saffron and cardamom powder to the milk mixture, stirring well to spread the spices evenly.
- 7. Finally, add chopped Dona Jimena Turron Duro Round Cake and cashew nuts, mixing them in gently.
- 8. Remove from heat and allow the Basundi to cool. You can enjoy it warm or refrigerate it for a chilled version.
