  2. 2. Spread 2 cups of fresh or frozen cherries evenly in an 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
