- 50G Black Garlic Cloves, 50G
- 250 G Onion Shallots 300g
- 75G Greenfields Berbere Spice Blend, 75G
- 400G Greenfield Himalayan Salt Fine 400G
- 100G Heera Black Pepper Powder 100g
- - Schwartz Flat Leaf Parsley
- 1 Piece Cucumber 1Pc
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it for 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant.
- 3. Add the diced lamb to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- 4. Add the Moroccan spice blend, salt, and black pepper to the lamb, stirring to coat evenly.
- 5. Pour 400ml of water into the pan and bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes until the lamb is tender.
- 6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to a separate pot with 320ml of water. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and cover to cook for about 10 minutes.
- 7. In a separate pan, lightly sauté the diced carrots with olive oil for 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- 8. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and mix in the lemon juice and chopped parsley for added flavor.
