Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 300G Fish Said Fred Msc Big Cod Fillets
- 380G Fage Fruits Coconut
- 180G Fish Said Fred Asc Sea Bass Fillets
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 100G Rajah Spices Ground Paprika Powder
Instructions
- 1. Clean and cut the fish into bite-sized chunks and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix hung curd, ginger-garlic paste, spices, lemon juice, and mustard oil into a smooth marinade.
- 3. Coat the fish chunks thoroughly with the marinade and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
- 4. Preheat the oven or grill to 200°C and grease the baking tray or grill rack lightly with oil.
- 5. Arrange the marinated fish pieces on the tray or rack and cook for 10-12 minutes until they are charred and cooked through.
- 6. Meanwhile, blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, onion, salt, and water to make a smooth mint chutney.
- 7. Arrange the cooked fish tikka onto a serving platter and drizzle with a little lemon juice for added zing.
- 8. Serve the fish tikka hot with the fresh mint chutney and a side of crisp onion slices.
