Instructions
- 1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Dice 1 onion and sauté until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- 2. Add 500 g crumbled paneer to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3. In a bowl, mix 1 can of drained green beans with 1 can of tomato soup. Add the paneer mixture and stir to combine.
- 4. Transfer the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and spread evenly.
- 5. Peel and boil 5 potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash the potatoes with 1/2 cup milk and 1 egg until smooth.
- 6. Spoon the mashed potatoes over the casserole mixture, spreading evenly to cover the surface.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the casserole for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- 8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
