- - Schwartz Oregano
- 250 ml Critida Lemon Infused Olive Oil 250Ml
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 400G Dunns River Red Kidney Beans
- 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- - Mccormick Cumin Powder
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Instructions
- 1. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1/4 cup finely chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce, cooking for 1 minute to release the flavors.
- 4. Add 1 can of red kidney beans and 1 can of vegan tamales (chopped into small pieces) to the saucepan. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Gradually add 1/4 pound of nutritional yeast, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes.
- 6. Remove from heat and transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Serve warm with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers.
