Ingredients

  • 100G Fresh Spices Fresh Small Green Chillies
  • 3 Pcs Green Lime 3 Pcs
  • - Natco Kala Namak Indian Black Salt
  • 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Wash the green peppers thoroughly, then slice them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Set the prepared pepper halves aside.
  3. 3. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of Crisp N Dry Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. 4. Finely chop the Fresh Small Green Chillies and add them to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. 5. If using Natco Popping Corn as a garnish or side, prepare it separately by popping the corn in a dry pan or using a popcorn maker. Set aside for later use.
  6. 6. Add the huitlacoche (if available) to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. If huitlacoche is not available, substitute with a similar ingredient like sautéed mushrooms or black beans for a comparable texture and flavor.
  7. 7. Season the mixture with a pinch of Natco Kala Namak Indian Black Salt and squeeze the juice of one Green Lime over the filling. Stir well to combine.
  8. 8. Spoon the prepared filling into the hollowed-out green pepper halves, pressing gently to pack the filling.
  9. 9. Place the stuffed peppers on the prepared baking tray and drizzle lightly with Crisp N Dry Oil.
  10. 10. Bake the stuffed peppers in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and slightly charred on the edges.
  11. 11. Remove the peppers from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Optionally, garnish with freshly popped Natco Popping Corn for added crunch and a unique presentation.
  12. 12. Serve the Vegan Huitlacoche Stuffed Peppers warm with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
