Ingredients
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 1 Kg Coarse Bulgur Wheat, 1Kg
- - Filippo Berio Garlic Flavoured Olive Oil
- 400G Casa Marrazzo Peeled Organic Tomatoes, 400G
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- 600 Ml Bristol Syrup Co Lime Juice, 600Ml
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 12.5 Kg Top-Op Cooking Salt 12.5kg
Instructions
- 1. In a large earthenware casserole with a lid, combine 2 cups of cracked wheat and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- 2. Pour boiling water over the cracked wheat until fully covered, then place the lid on and let it sit for 45 minutes.
- 3. While the wheat is soaking, finely chop 1/2 cup parsley, 1/2 cup parsley, and 1/2 cup scallion. Dice 2 tomatoes.
- 4. Once the wheat has absorbed the water, drain any excess liquid and fluff the wheat with a fork.
- 5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the prepared cracked wheat with the chopped parsley, parsley, scallion, and diced tomatoes.
- 6. Drizzle 3/4 cup of lime juice and 1 cup of olive oil over the mixture. Add 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and toss everything together until well combined.
- 7. Cover the bowl and let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
