- 400 g Manning Impex Frozen Tempeh 400G
- 653G Mccain Baby Hasselback Potatoes Salt & Pepper
- - Chilli Powder Rajah
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 2. Add 400 g of crumbled tempeh to the pot and cook until lightly browned, about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- 3. Peel and slice 7 medium potatoes into thin rounds.
- 4. Add the sliced potatoes to the pot with the tempeh. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chili powder over the mixture and stir well.
- 5. Pour in 1 can (400 ml) of tomato sauce and enough water to cover the ingredients. Stir to combine.
- 6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium. Cover the pot and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
- 7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot and enjoy your vegan chili tomato stew.
