- 125 Ml Kikkoman Mirin-Style Sweet Cooking Seasoning, 125Ml
- - Ginger - 100g
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 500G Biona Organic Long Grain Italian White Rice
- - Thompson & Morgan Broccoli Romanesco Seeds
- - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 300G Brown Sugar With Ginger, 300G
- 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, grated ginger, and minced garlic to prepare the teriyaki sauce.
- 3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, and sear the tofu cubes until golden on all sides.
- 4. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the teriyaki sauce to thicken it, stirring continuously.
- 5. Pour the sauce over the tofu in the pan and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until well coated.
- 6. Cook the rice according to package instructions, then toss it with sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly.
- 7. Steam the broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes until tender but still vibrant green.
- 8. Plate the sesame rice as the base, arrange the glazed tofu on top, and add the steamed broccoli as a side.
