Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 8 Per Pack Orchardworld Apple Box
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- 12.5 Kg Top-Op Cooking Salt 12.5kg
- 20G Thai "Hand" White Pepper Powder, 20G
- - Schwartz Paprika
- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
- - Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
- 1. In a large pot or pressure cooker, heat over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine and let the pot heat up for a minute.
- 2. Add 2 diced onions, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper to the pot. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the onions become translucent.
- 3. Stir in 1 diced sweet apple and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes to combine the flavors.
- 4. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, then add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. If using a pressure cooker, seal the lid and cook on low pressure for 40 minutes. If using a stovetop, bring to a simmer and cook covered for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- 5. After pressure cooking, switch to slow cook mode and let the dish simmer for 1-3 hours to deepen the flavors. If on the stovetop, reduce the heat to low and continue simmering uncovered for the same duration.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot as a standalone dish or with your favorite side.
