Ingredients
- 1 Kg Jj Large Prawns (90/120, 700g Net) 1x1kg
- 100 g Yorkshire English Carrots 100G
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1 Broccoli - 1 Head
- 1 Kg Jasmine Rice Thai Hom Mali, 1Kg
- - Amoy Dark Soy Sauce
- 100G Chinese Five Spice Pouch, 100G
- 250G Spanish Lemon Honey, 250G
- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 50G Black Garlic Cloves, 50G
- 65G Natoora Root Ginger
- - Biona Capers In Olive Oil
- 400G Greenfield Himalayan Salt Fine 400G
- 100G Heera Black Pepper Powder 100g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water and cook it according to package instructions until fluffy.
- 2. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, Chinese Five Spice, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl.
- 3. Heat a large wok over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 4. Once heated, stir-fry the minced garlic and grated ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 5. Add the prawns to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- 6. Add the remaining olive oil to the wok and toss in the chopped carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli florets.
- 7. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender yet still crispy.
- 8. Return the prawns to the wok and pour in the prepared sauce, stirring well to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- 9. Allow the sauce to thicken for 2 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 10. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper if needed.
