- - Filippo Berio Mild Light Olive Oil
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 2.5 Kg Casa Marrazzo Organic Chopped Tomatoes, 2.5Kg
- 1 Kg Red Onion 1kg
- 100G Sichuan Pepper, 100G
- 375 ml Capirete 20 Years Sherry Vinegar 375Ml
- - Tata Salt
- - London Grocery Ciabatta Bake At Home 4 Pack
Instructions
- 1. Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil. Skip the step involving fresh beans. Proceed directly to the next step.
- 2. In a large skillet, cook 4 slices of turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to drain. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium.
- 3. Add 1 diced red onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for an additional minute.
- 4. Add 3/4 cup diced tomatoes and 1 tablespoon of sherry vinegar to the skillet. Cook, stirring often, until the tomatoes just begin to soften and release their juices. Season with salt and Sichuan pepper to taste.
- 5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in half of the crispy turkey bacon. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then gently fold in 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, Sichuan pepper, or sherry vinegar if needed.
- 6. Toast 6 slices of ciabatta. Cut 1 garlic clove in half and rub the cut side over the warm toasted bread. Drizzle each slice with a little olive oil.
- 7. Spoon the mixture over the toasted bread slices and top with the remaining crispy turkey bacon. Serve immediately.
