- - Petti Delicato Extra Fine Passata
- 450G Northern Pasta Co. Fusilli, 450G
- 400G Sabarot Chia Seeds, 400G
- 395G D'Aucy Chopped Spinach
- 150G Saitaku Panko Breadcrumbs
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- 2. Cook 1 cup of spinach in a pan over medium heat until wilted. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of the liquid.
- 3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté 1 diced onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- 4. Add 1 lb of ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- 5. Stir in 6 oz of passata, 8 oz of tomato sauce, and the reserved spinach liquid into the turkey mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Meanwhile, boil 8 oz of fusilli in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 7. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds mixed with 6 tablespoons of water, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 8. Mix the cooked macaroni into the spinach mixture until evenly combined.
- 9. Spread the spinach-macaroni mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- 10. Pour the turkey and tomato sauce mixture over the top, spreading it out evenly.
- 11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the top is slightly golden.
- 12. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
