- 1 Kg Green Lentils, 1Kg
- - Imperial Elephant Jasmine Fragrant Rice
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 100 g Yorkshire English Carrots 100G
- - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 500G Cj Taeyangcho Red Pepper Gochujang Paste
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and cook the lentils in boiling water until tender, about 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- 3. Add julienned carrots and chopped spring onions, cooking for 3 minutes.
- 4. Stir in cooked lentils, jasmine rice, gochujang paste, soy sauce, and water.
- 5. Cook the mixture on medium heat until well combined and slightly sticky.
- 6. Drizzle sesame oil and rice vinegar over the lentil-rice mixture, stirring gently.
- 7. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2 minutes and sprinkle them into the mixture.
- 8. Wash and pat dry lettuce leaves to prepare them for wrapping.
- 9. Spoon the lentil-rice filling into each lettuce leaf, folding to create wraps.
- 10. Serve the wraps warm or at room temperature, paired with extra gochujang for dipping.
