Spiced Garlic Lentils With Tempeh Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 250 ml Critida Lemon Infused Olive Oil 250Ml
- - McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper MCG-24431
- 400 g Manning Impex Frozen Tempeh 400G
Instructions
- 1. Cut 300 g of tempeh into 3/4 inch cubes and set aside.
- 2. Peel and dice 1 medium carrot into small pieces.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- 4. Mince 2 cloves of garlic and add them to the heated oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned.
- 5. Add the diced carrots to the saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften.
- 6. Add the tempeh cubes to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes, gently stirring to ensure even cooking.
- 7. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- 8. Let the mixture cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and well-seasoned.
- 9. Serve the spiced garlic tempeh and carrots over a bed of your favorite cooked rice, such as brown or basmati rice.
