  • 850G Riseria Campanini 3 Cereals Rice, 850G
  • 100 G Rajah Garam Masala
  • - Tata Salt
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
  • 50 g Dry Ginger | Sukku | Sonth | Chukku | Sonti | Onashunti Powder 50G

Instructions

  1. 1. In a pressure cooker, combine 500 g chicken, 1 3/4 onions (sliced), 4 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tsp grated ginger, 1 tsp garam masala, and 1 tsp salt. Add enough water to cover the chicken and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Release the pressure and carefully remove the chicken. Strain the cooking liquid to remove spices and set the liquid aside.
  3. 3. In a large pot, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat and sauté 1/4 onion (finely chopped) until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add the reserved cooking liquid to the pot and bring it to a boil. Measure 2 cups of rice and add it to the pot, ensuring the liquid is double the volume of the rice.
  5. 5. Return the cooked chicken to the pot, stir gently, and boil the mixture for 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 15 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  7. 7. Fluff the rice with a fork, serve hot, and enjoy your spiced chicken and rice dinner.
