  • 1.3 Kg Typically Turf & Clover Large Beef Roasting Joint
  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 500G White Pearl Italian Pudding Rice 500g
  • 200G Bay'S Kitchen Concentrated Beef Stock
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • - Mccormick Cumin Powder
  • 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
  • - Schwartz Paprika
  • 50G Niharti Cinnamon Taj-Dalchini Powder 50g
  • - Jalpur Curry Powder
  • - Tata Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut 500 g beef into cubes and set aside.
  2. 2. Chop 1 onion and mince 2 cloves of garlic.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the beef cubes to the pan and season with 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp curry powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir well to coat the beef in the spices.
  5. 5. Chop 1 tomato and add it to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Add 1 cup beef stock to the pan, cover, and simmer on low heat until the beef is tender, about 30-40 minutes.
  7. 7. While the beef is cooking, prepare 1 1/3 cups white rice according to package instructions.
  8. 8. Once the beef is tender, adjust seasoning if needed and serve the spiced beef mixture over the cooked white rice.
