- 1 Kg Shazans Chicken Wings
- 1 Jar Rowse Clear Honey
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 1 L Kikkoman Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce
- 454G Goya Brown Cane Sugar, 454G
- - Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
- - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
- 50 g Dry Ginger | Sukku | Sonth | Chukku | Sonti | Onashunti Powder 50G
- - Fresh British Roasting Chicken
- 1 Kg Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
Instructions
- 1. Remove the wing tips from 1.5 kg of chicken wings and cut each wing in half at the joint.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine 160 ml soy sauce, 80 g brown sugar, 80 ml cider vinegar, 2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp ground ginger. Stir until the sugars are dissolved.
- 3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them thoroughly to coat with the marinade.
- 4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the chicken wings for at least 8 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to develop.
- 5. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a jelly roll pan with foil and arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the pan.
- 6. Bake the wings, uncovered, for 45 minutes. During baking, brush the wings with the leftover marinade twice to enhance the glaze.
